WHY CHOOSE AN IN-HOME NEWBORN SESSION
There’s something truly special about capturing your baby’s first days in the comfort and warmth of your own home. In-home sessions offer a relaxed, baby-led approach that allows your family to feel at ease while creating beautifully personal and natural images.
COMFORT & CONVENIENCE
- No need to worry about leaving the house in those early weeks. I’ll come to you, allowing plenty of time for feeding, cuddling, and settling. Everything is done at your baby’s pace, in a familiar environment that keeps everyone relaxed — especially older siblings.
NATURAL IMAGES
- Photographing your family in your own space adds a personal touch to your gallery. We can incorporate special areas like your baby’s nursery, your living room, or your bed — creating images that are both beautiful and sentimental.

EVERYTHING YOU'LL NEED TO HELP US CREATE A CALM AND BEAUTIFUL IN-HOME SESSION
-
A space with lots of natural light, near large windows or patio doors is ideal. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect — I’ll help you find the best spots when I arrive.
-
A small area for my posing bean bag, preferably by a window with soft, even light. It doesn’t take up much space, and I’ll set it up and pack it away.
-
Your master bedroom, if you’re happy to use it, your bed is a lovely place for soft, intimate family photos. Light or neutral bedding works best to keep the images timeless and airy.
-
The baby’s nursery, if you’d like, we can include a few special shots in the nursery to capture all the love and details you’ve poured into that space.
Styling tip: Light, neutral tones throughout the home photograph beautifully, they help reflect light and keep the focus on you and your baby.
If you’re unsure about anything, I’ll guide you through it all and help you prepare. These sessions are designed to be easy, flexible, and memorable — capturing your newborn just as they are, in the home where your story is beginning.
